This is the last part in the 4 part short series in finding your true character and how it is linked closely to the core of one’s success. The concept of starting with “the end in mind” by Mr. Stephen Covey has been mostly inspirational for these short articles.
So here is the fourth and final question you should ask yourself as you are present and peeking in during your own Eulogy as you are remembered by your community and the World around you.
Here is mine:
1. HE was compassionate.
2. He was truly a Human being.
3. He was giving (Spiritually, financially, and with his time)
4. He touched people positively, DEEPLY and emotionally.
5. He warmed people’s hearts.
6. He always responded to communication sent to him.
7. He helped make life a little better for anyone he came in contact with.
HOW WOULD YOU ANSWER THAT QUESTION? The answers lead you to the legacy you should, if you choose, to leave behind when you are gone but more importantly will give you the community, worldly goals you set. Then and only then will you have a way to set your plans into action. Without the end in mind there is no beginning.
