I get up in the morning and think about how I can help myself become a better person. How can I become more successful with this barrage of bad news raining down on me and everyone around me everyday, needless to say, actual rain too!

It takes effort, darn it!  It takes effort to find a positive in a negative.  Then certain events pile it on.  For example, yesterday, I felt as though I had failed as a father since I did not act fast enough to catch my son from slipping and bumping his head against the tub.  He had a nice bruise, but he forgot about it in 5 minutes.  Me, I am still carrying the guilt a little bit.

If it was not for a handfulof wonderful people– positive people (friends, family and even some virtual friends from facebook) I would have still felt the negativity.  I am always the person who sees the positive in everything. I even teach that to people but I had to dig a little more. Those positive souls instantly lifted me out of my self-made shell.  And I did not look back!

Which brings me to my point.

Surround yourself with positive people.  Whether it has to do with your family life, business, finding a career, reconnecting loose ends in your own past or anything that will help you become more successful. It takes just as much effort and energy, if not more to feel negative about something as it does to be positive.  Then why don’t we choose the positive? You just have to look and awaken that energy within you, those positive sparks around you sure help along the way.

I dabble in art and cartoons from time to time, I thought my little doodle-cartoon was quite befitting of this post!

As always to your health and success in all your dreams and thoughts,
